Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District, is one of the larger fire districts in the State of OHIO. Covering over 360 square miles, in the counties of Highland, Ross, and Fayette. PCJEFD covers 10 townships between the three counties, the Village of Greenfield, the City of Hillsboro, and several smaller municipalities. We provide either Fire, EMS, or both services to members and contrating entities.

PCJEFD covers a rural area, which also includes two state parks. Paint Creek State Park, which has a 1,148 acre lake, utilized for fishing, boating, and other recreational activities. Rocky Fork State Park is also located in our area, with a 2,080 acre lake. Like Paint Creek, it is utilized for fishing, high speed boating, and various recreational activities.
